Plot

It is 1941, World War II, and the Germans have been in Russia for a year. Three prisoners—an officer, a politician and a sniper—will escape from German detention and flee to a small village where they hope to take refuge. But one of the men has been collaborating with the Germans, and he must soon face a dire choice. Nothing is certain, no one safe. A riveting film experience, with a highly unique and astonishing visual style, Our Own may sometimes shock in its depiction of war, yet the result is a masterpiece of filmmaking that one will find impossible to turn away from.
