Plot

The End follows the story of Joseph, an excessively curious school teacher with a special gift for picking up on paranormal remnants in crime scenes. Years after helping solve a heinous crime, Joseph finds himself a new obsession: to track an elusive kidnapper with the help of the enticing Clara, a police detective who increasingly questions Joseph's sanity. Together, the duo become swept up in the mysterious goings-on in their small town, as their case edges delicately towards a bizarre and shocking twist that no one sees coming. Equal parts thriller, drama, horror and mystery, The End captivates with a highly original and playful modern noir that unleashes surprises which upturn any conventional relationship an audience has with fictional cinema. A clever and refreshing vision, this film will have you utterly compelled right up to its artfully unexpected conclusion.
